Utilplastic was founded in 1969 as a manufacturer of plastic household articles.
These were the years in which the use of the first plastic materials started to spread and the Desideri family dedicated themselves to this rising industry.
The first articles produced were intended for the semi-finished products sector, for brooms and other cleaning articles. As time went by, the focus shifted to household articles, such as buckets, basins, kitchen and bathroom items.
The interest in plastic processing of the Desideri family, owners to this day of the Utilplastic brand, began as early as 1959 and after 10 years Utilplastic was born. Today the company owns a factory covering about 10,000 square metres, 4,000 of which are covered. The production facilities are the most modern available, equipped with computerised process controls and robotised handling. The warehouses allow a high standard production stock and the possibility of customised production for individual customers.

Utilgreen products are made by processing mixed plastics that were hitherto destined to end up in landfills or be burnt in waste incinerator plants, and have the same mechanical properties as ordinary plastic utensils.
